Natalia et Laurent — English version

Natalia & Laurent

The Wedding

Natalia and Laurent’s wedding was a real pleasure to photograph. First and foremost, I was touched by the bride and groom themselves: Natalia and Laurent are as lovely as they are close. Their story, which began in Ukraine, continues today in France.

This day also gave me the opportunity to discover Ukrainian culture and learn a few words of this beautiful language.

Throughout the wedding, we made the most of several moments to organise short photo sessions, varying the backdrops and creating a range of atmospheres. It was a real joy working with a couple who were so enthusiastic, natural and at ease in front of the camera.

The venue

The setting that welcomed us was of the highest calibre: the Château de la Bourdaisière, which offers numerous possibilities for photo shoots, both in its gardens and its interiors.

It was a real pleasure to work in this luxurious setting, one of the jewels of the Loire Valley.

The photographic experience

This day brought together everything a photographer could wish for: a spectacular dress, a long veil, numerous photogenic locations and a bride and groom who were particularly at ease in front of the camera. Above all, I thoroughly enjoyed working with the ever-changing lighting conditions as the hours passed, shifting from soft, natural light to more high-contrast scenes, and then to a warmer glow as the day drew to a close.

We had defined the visual style of the photo shoot together in advance. Natalia’s previous experience as a model allowed us to easily explore different poses and setups, whilst still capturing natural and elegant images.

This creativity was also fuelled by my collaboration with Yann, a Ukrainian videographer. We worked together beautifully, each of us building on the other’s ideas to make the most of every location, every light and, more broadly, this magnificent day.

About the photographer

A recognised eye, a deeply human presence

Choosing a photographer means entrusting someone with the memories of a unique day. My work has been recognised with a Fearless Award, a leading international accolade in wedding photography. Couples who have placed their trust in me have also given me a 5-star rating on Mariages.net, highlighting not only the quality of my images but also my discretion, my availability and the support I provide.

A graduate of the CFPJ and a member of the Hans Lucas agency, I also produce photo reports for the press and collaborate in particular with France Télévisions and LCI. This experience in photojournalism informs my approach to wedding photography: observing closely, anticipating key moments and capturing emotions without interrupting the experience you are having.

Every wedding is carefully planned to tell your story in all its richness, from the very first moments right through to the reception. I photograph the big moments, but also the glances, the gestures, the details and the unexpected scenes that give each day its unique character. My approach combines experience in photojournalism, a high level of technical skill and a relationship built on trust, to create natural, elegant and sometimes spectacular images that truly reflect who you are.
